Namibia – roughly inland

We finally managed to leave the coast behind and head inland, breaking up the journey to our first national park at Vingerklip lodge.

That finger-like rock jutting out from the barren landscape is the Vingerklip, but the most stunning part of the view were the numerous table-mountain-like structures in the area.

Just the one night spent there was enough – the lodge was okay but nothing to write home about – and we headed north toward Etosha National Park!
